Outreach Ministries
The Beauvoir congregation is very active in reaching out to the community and beyond. In 2023 Beauvoir was able to give more than $18,000 in direct assistance to those in need, through our denomination's Mission Shares and to other helping ministries around the world. Below are just some of the ways we are in service to our neighbors near and far.
USDA Food Pantry
We serve food to individual and families in need within the 39531 zipcode. Our pantry is open the second Wednesdays each month from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. The 2024 dates are:

We support the Bethel Free Health Clinic located at 1650 Carrol Dr. Biloxi 39531. This clinic provides much needed medical care to some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

A United Methodist Congregation located at 856 Division Street Biloxi 39530. This community of faith serves as a Day Center for at risk individuals in our community. Some of the services they provide are; meals, clothing, laundry, showers, communication resources, worship, and Bible study.

United Methodist Committee on Relief is an international organization of the United Methodist Church dedicated to alleviating human suffering around the globe. UMCOR’s work includes programs and projects in disaster response, health, sustainable agriculture, food security, relief supplies, and more.
Revival United Methodist Church - Latnaya, Russia:
Rev. Galina Kolesnikova serves a local congregation and community in Russia. They are in the process of completing a church building. Some of their outreach projects include a community garden and cloths closet, providing supplies for an orphanage and spiritual needs (worship and Bible study) for a prison.

Back Bay Mission is located on Division Street in Biloxi. It is a community ministry of the United Church of Christ meeting the urgent needs of those suffering from poverty and its effects while building pathways to social justice. They provide many services including emgergency help and education opportunities.
Heifer International: https://www.heifer.org/
Heifer International's mission is to work with communities to end world hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth. Heaifer links communities and helps bring sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty.

Our church has been blessed with a wonderful facility. We feel a call from God to open our facility to other community groups. Some of the groups who meet at Beauvoir regularly are: TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), Harrsion County Prison Ministry, Parkinson Support Group, Mental Health Association of South Mississippi, PEO (Professional Educators Organization), Gambler's Anonymous, and Seashore District Lay Servant Training.
